Illuminated check engine light
Decreased engine performance and fuel efficiency
Rough idle or stalling
Increased emissions levels
Faulty exhaust valve control solenoid
Damaged or corroded wiring in the circuit
Loose or disconnected electrical connections
Failed powertrain control module (PCM)
Exhaust Valve: The exhaust gases after combustion are sent out of the engine through the exhaust valve. Problems lead to harmful emissions out of limit
Check and replace the exhaust valve control solenoid if necessary
Inspect and repair any damaged wiring or connections in the circuit
Tighten or reconnect any loose or disconnected electrical connections
Replace the powertrain control module (PCM) if needed
